I dreamt a possum was hiding in the shadows
and  knew trouble was coming

your deceit and lies
keep creeping in to my dreams
causing nightmares

in my waking life

I can see you
tripping on all your evasive
half truths

your venom
is spreading confusion
the antidote is truth

you are the shadow man
a trickster shifting your faces
moving about the world
hoping no one can see
that your mouth
is spewing dead flies

I know this possum game
watch me
lay low
and play dead
